"I have scanned some pictures of the cutest thing you will ever see! Her name is Screech Eileen and she’s a cockatiel. She’s white, not yellow (she’s scared of yellow. LMAO!), but her feathers come in white and turn yellow. hee hee She has deformed feet (her momma was from a birdie mill), once had a hole in her head cause my other birdie (R.I.P. Spazz Matilda) pecked her, and she only has one wing… But she’s my baby. Anywho. While we were going to Santa Barbara last month, we stopped by Pismo Beach and I had to see if Screechie would go on sand. Well, she did and she liked it a little too much!"

"I usually close it quickly and pretend I didn't see it.
When I moved to Vicksburg, I had two cats and a bird.
I had cared for several kittens and cats, and I considered myself a pro at caring for animals. Little did I know of the nature of birds.
Adopting a sun conure into a house with two cats wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done, but it was one of the most educational.
Sun conures are beautiful parrots about the size of a cockatiel. They typically have brilliant yellow bodies with orange heads and wings in gradated shades of blue and green.
He came into our lives when he was just five weeks old."

"We just got a new dry-erase board and put it up on the office wall. We happen to keep the birds in the office and poor Elvis was screaming and climbing all over his cage in distress. The poor guy is scared to death of this new board. I think he'll get used to it, after all, he got used to the card table that we set up in there to sort papers on."

"Okay, I finally got a name for my girl: Merlin. It came to me last night, and it just "clicked" well for me. My mom's not too happy with it, as she's called all of our pets after human names, but I broke the chain. =D
Thaddeus is starting to like her too; when she's not looking, he'll start to preen her feathers, and as soon as she looks, he'll stop, turn around and put on his Big Bad Birdy mood again. They're so adorable!
I think I really lucked out on Merlin, she's already cuddling on my neck ( and scratching it >_<; ), she calls for me everytime I 'm around, and tries to fly up to me. Oh how I love her.

Oh, and the hideous human is me. =O "
